I have been visiting this 'delicafe' for a few years, as standards have always been so high. Giuliano prides himself, correctly, on all of the beautiful, tasty food. Proper Italian food, prepared and served by an Italian, helped by his team of Italian staff. The new staff have been hired, as he has re-branded elements including menus, decor, and shopfront.

There is a very small step, down into the cafe, meaning there is absolutely no issue when entering (in wheelchair). I am fairly sure that there would be no problem exiting, but Giuliano installs his 'homemade ramp', with pride and positive success. This is a folded cardboard box, providing a ramp of up to about 50mm. Successful! Once inside, tables and chairs are free to move around, to suit.
The coffee is very good. Ok, not the same, ultra-high standard of the food, but it comfortably maintains the high standards of the cafe, a welcome break from Kingston chain-cafes. A smooth taste means that a single espresso is required after the first coffee. I am having trouble to break-down this coffee into specific taste characteristics. Stony and ever-so-slightly ashen, but this is a super coffee. I don't find it too sweet, too bitter, or too oily, or too stony. Wonderful middle-ground, between possible extremities.
Mmmmmm mmmmmmmmmm.
This delicafe is NEVER a 'let-down'. The pasta is always a supreme, delicious, surprise (these tastes can be found nowhere else in local area)! Combine with a dark black coffee, heavenly!
